Our unique infant acid pH testing kit is extremely beneficial to any baby suffering from infant acid reflux.
Of course you can always see results when your little one’s acid reflux is improving but how do you know when your baby’s acid levels are at a normal range?
When there seems to be flare ups of acid reflux it is important to find out if the pH is "well controlled". The only way to really know is to test your baby’s pH level. With our special kit with custom designed pH chart you will be able to gauge your child’s acidity levels with accuracy.
The pH testing kit comes with 25 special pH strips to indicate the level of acidity and a laminated pH color coded chart to reference your baby’s pH with accuracy.

Here’s how it works.
You want to test your baby’s spit up (always
check fresh spit up) and not the saliva. Wait for your baby to spit up
and dip the pH strip into the spit up. Then take the pH strip and hold
it up to your numbered pH color coded chart.
Write these values
down (the number that correlates with color) or you may forget what
happens when you make changes. Use our pH diary by printing out the PDF
and keeping track of times changes in pH levels.
You should check three times per day or as you have the opportunity to have access to fresh spit up.
NOTE:
If
you are giving your baby an immediate release PPI, you will want to
check the spit up before a scheduled dose of PPI, or 4 to 5 hrs after a
dose.
If you've giving your baby any antacids you will not want to test the spit up within 2 hrs after a dose of antacid.
